She was born in Anyang, a city in the province of Gyeonggi, South Korea. She doesn’t have any siblings. Jennie is said to have studied abroad in New Zealand, Canada, and the Netherlands. She studied in New Zealand at ACG Parnell College. She lived in Auckland, New Zealand for five years. Jennie is fluent in three languages, namely Korean, English, and Japanese.
